1. Her name really is Ke$ha… minu$ the dollar $igns. Her full name: Kesha Rose Sebert.


2. She's a Genius. The star reportedly scored 1500 on her SAT’s, and has an IQ of over 140 which only makes her narrowly miss out on being a part of the genius category!


3. Apparently, the singer recently revealed that she spends thousands of dollars a month on glittery goodness, even adding that “It’s my goal to cover the planet in glitter”.


4. Ke$ha states that while she was at high school, she used to drive to Belmont University to attend college classes on topics such as the Cold War for fun! In the star's own words, "I love learning".


5. Ke$ha says that if she had not reached such success as a singer, she would have gone to Barnard to study to be a psychologist.


6. Pebe Sebert is not only Ke$ha's mom, but she is also a singer and songwriter in her own right. Pebe also raised Ke$ha all on her own and has never told the star who her father is.


7. Ke$ha had financial troubles in the past and has slept in cars and sold clothes for food, but she never gave up on her dream.


8. Before Ke$ha was famous, she was more than a little eager to get a record deal, so thought her best shot at it was to sneak into Prince's house and leave a demo.
